欲望是第一海愚痴是第一闇瞋忌是第一怨疑妒是第一障Thedeepestdesireisthehardesttoquench.

Hatredcausestheworstresentment.

Jealousycausesthegreatesthindrance.

有过必有罚有功必有赏有种必有收有业必有报Wherethereiserror,thereispunishment.

Wherethereisachievement,thereisaward.

Wherethereispalnting,thereisharvest.

平安就是福报功德就是寿命知足就是富贵适情就是自在Whoeverhashealthhasgoodfortune.

花儿吐露芬芳，我们觉得赏心悦目因为它是「活」的树梢随风轻摇，我们觉得生意盎然因为它是「活」的鸟儿枝头鸣叫，我们觉得动听悦耳因为它是「活」的Fragrantflowersbringjoybecausetheyarealive.

Treegivepleasurebecausetheyarealive.

Birdsongisagreeablebecauseitisalive.

云朵舒卷自如，我们觉得自在舒畅因为它是「活」的溪水淙淙流动，我们觉得涤尽尘虑因为它是「活」的人的肌肉也要是「活」的才能散发出生命的喜悦与希望Movingcloudsmakeushappybecausetheyseemalive.

Streamsmakeusthinkofthepurgingofdefildmentbecausetheyarealive.

Humanmusclesgiveusjoyandhopebecausetheyarealive.

持戒的力量，可以擒拿心中的盗贼禅定的力量，可以制伏心中的魔军精进的力量，可以解开心中的缠结智慧的力量，可以消灭心中的怨毒Thepowerofpreceptcancatchthementalthief.

Thepowerofmeditationcansubduethementaldemon.

Thepowerofdiligencecanscattermentaldefilement.

Thepowerofwisdomcanpurgehatred.

有发愿才会有力量有功德才能不退转Withthevowcomesstrength.

Withmeritoriousactscomesprogress.

有佛法，就有办法能持戒，就不犯法WhereDharmais,thereliestheway.

Wherepreceptis,therecanbenotransgression.

烦恼是妄想分别，应该要远离生死是旷古秘密，应该要探究Avoidthedefilementsofdelusionanddiscrimination.

Discovertheancientsecretoflifeanddeath.

道，没有时间，无始无终所以弥陀才叫「无量寿」道，没有空间，无内无外所以弥陀才叫「无量光」Justasthet'ao(way)hasneitherbeginningnorend,soAmitabhaBuddhaisendless.

Justasthet'ao(way)hasneitherinsidenoroutside,soAmitabhaBuddhaisinfinite.

贪婪瞋恚去除了，身心才能净化自私嫉妒远离了，心胸才会宽大Purgingenvyincreasesyournobility.

Purginghateandgreedmakesyoupure.

慈悲是弘法的根本失去了度众的慈悲，就没有佛道可成方便是弘法的应用不能巧妙运用方便，则不能圆满度众CompassionisessentialwhenteachingBuddhism;withoutcompassion,youcannotattainBuddhahood.

SkillisessentialwhenteachingBuddhism;withoutskillfulmeans,youcannotsavesentientbeings.

心正，则本立本立，则道生道生，则心净心净，则自然Withrighteousness,agoodfoundationislaid.

Withagoodfoundation,thet'ao(way)arises.

Withthet'ao,themindispurified.

Withapuremind,everythingcomesintobeingnaturally.

只要不种恶因，自然没有恶果想要幸福快乐，便要培养善缘Ifthereisnoevilcause,thereisnoevileffect.

Ifyoucultivategoodcausesandconditions,youwillbehappy.

知足者富贪心者贫助人者贵多欲者贱Contentpeoplearerich.

Greedypeoplearepoor.

Thosewhohelparenoble.

Thosewhodesiremucharedegraded.

心物平等是美好的感受自他平等是和平的基础性相平等是人间的真理生佛平等是法界的圆满Theequalityofmindandobjectbringspeoplegoodfeeling.

Theequalityofselfandotherlaysthefoundationofpeace.

Theequalityofnounmenaandphenomenashowsthetruthoftheworld.

TheequalityofBuddhaandsen-tientbeingsshowsaperfectdharmadhatu.

心无罣碍，方成解脱能除烦恼，便是修行Withoutworryandobstruction,onecanattainliberation.

Gettingridofdefilementispractice.

凡人有过能悔，然后就能进德凡事有缘能行，然后就能成功Repentanceenhancesvirtue.

Actingwithcausesandconditionsleadstosuccess.

凡事缘聚而成凡事缘散而灭有了因缘，事事顺遂因缘不合，处处失利Thingsariseoutofcausesandconditions.

Thingsdisappearoutofcausesandconditions.

Withcausesandconditions,allgoeswell.

Withoutgoodcausesandconditions,successisimpossible.

喜舍好比播种懂得播种，必然有所收成贪婪仿佛掘根根本不固，难果实累树Joyfulgiving,likesowingseeds,producesarichharvest.

Greed,likepullingriceoutbytheroot,deprivesusofadecentharvest.
